Our teaching
Our goal at the surf school in Seignosse is to help each one of you practice surfing independently, in a safe and pleasant environment. To achieve this, our team of state-certified instructors, uses an individualized approach that adapts to each person's level and particularities so we can offer quality surf lessons.
The team of instructors at Lost Surf School is driven by a true passion for teaching. We will always be attentive to provide tips that will allow you to progress and have fun. Also, to improve our skills, teachers regularly exchange and debrief on lessons. This reflection on surf-specific pedagogy allows us to nurture our teaching and consolidate the transmission of our knowledge to surfers who join us on the Landes waves.
What to expect during your lesson
at the Surf School in Seignosse
Surf lessons are organized by level and age to create homogeneous groups and offer the best learning and teaching conditions. Age is determined according to the following categories: children, teenagers, and adults. It is also possible (except during July and August) to organize family lessons (independent of age) to share a moment together. The level, on the other hand, is determined based on the prerogatives of the French Surfing Federation (FFS), which range from the First Foam to the Gold Wave.
Groups are made up of a maximum of 8 people per instructor for group lessons and a maximum of 4 people for private lessons.
Each session begins with a complete warm-up and ends with a debriefing. Throughout your session, you will receive personalized advice that can be given directly in the water or after the class, back at our surf school. Overall, our instructors minimize returns to the beach to optimize practice time.

THE BEST ONE
Surfboards are adapted to the different levels of students, their sizes, and their body shapes. You can even sometimes choose your favorite color! Thanks to our partnerships with shapers, our surf school in Seignosse offers a wide range of boards to try during lessons and to rent if you want to surf independently.

ADAPTED TO EACH PERSON
Surf lessons are taught by our team of instructors who are both accomplished surfers and state certified. With great technical competence, we use teaching methods appropriate to each person's progression. We are attentive to each student, their temperament, doubts, and progress to personalize our approach. We initiate young children too, starting at the age of 5, in the practice of surfing.

Group lessons are limited to a maximum of 8 students. We teach you the codes and rules of priority, the analysis of currents and the formation of rips, as well as the right reactions such as choosing waves. This learning process will give you a better understanding of the sea.
